What to expect from your first appointment

Your visits with us are all about you: your happiness, your comfort and your dental health.

At your first appointment, you will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Kelly who will introduce you to the practice and address any questions or concerns that you may have. He will perform a comprehensive oral exam, evaluating the entire mouth, bite, tissues, and muscles. His assistant Marisol will take any radio graphic and intraoral images that may be needed.

The more you know, the better equipped you are to make wise decisions about your health care. Our role is to provide you with that knowledge. Dr. Kelly will take any amount of time needed to speak to you about your treatment goals and provide guidance, recommendations and support to allow you to make the most educated oral health care decisions.

If you are bringing your child in for their first visit, please plan to stay with them for the duration of their first appointment. Though your child may be older, a new office is exciting and they may want your support during their appointment.

Emergent Care

If you are currently experiencing a dental emergency, please call our office at 507-243-3747. We will do our best to get you the immediate care that you need. If it is outside of our normal business hours, you will find instructions on our voicemail message.

Insurance and Financial Information

Dr. Kelly diagnoses, recommends, and provides treatment based on his professional experience. We strive to offer you honest opinions or any conditions your teeth or gums may have. We pride ourselves on working with you to educate and tailor treatment that is centered around your needs and wants. We do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach. If you are the recipient of an employer sponsored dental policy, it is important to understand how the contracts are negotiated between your employer and the insurance provider. The amount of coverage is dependent upon that agreement made between the insurance company and your employer and I not based upon the cost of services or quality of care. Many employers work to limit coverage to keep the cost of plans lower. The amount of compensation you receive will be based upon your policy coverage alone.

We are confident in our team's ability to assist you concerning your individual dental policy. However, we strongly encourage each patient to be aware of their plan policies including yearly revisions that may take place.<

We are a fee-for-service office which means we are not contracted through any insurance companies. However, we accept most insurances and would be happy to help you understand your dental benefits. We can submit claims electronically on your behalf at each visit. For your convenience we accept cash, personal checks or credit card payments. We strive to deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to you, therefore payment is due at the time of service unless previous arrangements have been made.
